By obtaining the Visa Gold you will have access to live, work and study in Portuguese territory, as well as free movement within the Schengen Area.
The program makes it possible to obtain Portuguese citizenship after 5 years of the temporary residence permit in the country.

Family Benefits
The family members to be included in the Visa Gold application must be:
- Spouse or legal partner;
- Under 18 years old;
- Children under the age of 26 who are dependent on the Visa Gold holder, namely, who are single and enrolled as students or financially dependent on their parents
- Parents of one spouse if they are over 66 years old (or 55 years old considered dependent);
- Siblings under the age of 18 of both spouses or partners if they are legally responsible, as determined by the courts.
